F4 Italy 2016 - Round 04 - Mugello

Quite a competitive field was at the Mugello with tight times during qualifying - being able to put all together in the same lap for qualifying was important to be up front.

Qualifying 1 was underway and Marcos Siebert managed a P4 at only 0,2 sec from the pole, Kevin Kratz for his return behind the steering wheel managed a nice P10, Job Van Uitert P14, Diego Ciantini P18 and Giacomo Bianchi P31.

For Qualifying 2, it was even more tight as 21 drivers were fighting in the same second, with being only 0,2 sec from the pole Marcos Siebert only qualified P8, followed by his team mate Job Van Uitert in P10, Diego Ciantini P17, Kevin Kratz P20 and Giacomo Bianchi P31.

Race 1 didn't go as expected for the Championship Leader Marcos Siebert as he had to retire after a damaged car against a cone while trying to overtake, leaving some points to catch from his nearest rival. Job grabbed 4 places during the race to finish P10, while Kevin finished P13 and Giacomo P25, Diego hasn't finished the race as he went in the gravel in the Arrabiata corners.

Race 2 on sunday morning was delayed after an horrific crash at the start which left a few cars damaged. After those events, the Race 2 by itself was eventless for Jenzer Drivers, Marcos finishing P8, Job P9, Diego P13, Kevin P18 and Giacomo P25.

Finally, last race of the week end saw Marcos Siebert getting back on the top spot of the podium with a great win starting P3 while his team mate Job Van Uitert managed to lock a P4, Kevin finished P17, Diego P18 and Giacomo P27. At the end of the week end, Marcos Siebert is still leading the Drivers Championship and Jenzer Motorsport the Teams Championship. Summer Break now for the Italian Competitors as the next Round will be mid September in Vallelunga.
