ADAC F4 2016 - Round 02 - Sachsenring

Not the results expected but some positives points to be ticked !

After a quite interesting week end in Oschersleben, a lot of expectations were on the shoulders of Job Van Uitert for the second Round, unfortunately a 2 times red flagged qualifying session didn't allow him to perform as he should have been, in the first part of the qualifying he was around P4-P5 of his group but after the two red flag didn't manage to put it together and drifted down to P10. Kevin Kratz managed to be the best performer of Jenzer Motorsport - qualified P8 of his group while Jan-Erik Meikup made it for the first time in the top 11 skipping then the qualifying race only Fabio had to go through the process of the qualifying race as he finished P12 of his group in the qualy race. By finishing P7 in the qualy race, Fabio was allowed to be part of the 3 races of the week-end.

Race 1 was almost safety car free and allow the Jenzer drivers to make a good progression through the field : Kevin from P15 to P11, Jan-Erik from P21 to P15, Fabio from P27 to P22, Job from P23 to P21.

Race 2 was eventfull with a lot of time the safety car out on track : nevertheless Jan-Erik made a great race from P30 to P17, Fabio from P26 to P15, Kevin from P19 to P13 while Job had some contact while going up through the field and DNF.

Finally the last race of the week end show some good promising results vanishing in the start when Kevin stalled and Jan-Erik penalised from jump start. Despite that and being last at the end of the first lap Kevin made a great race coming back up to P14, Fabio after a contact in the first lap recovered up to P22, DNF for Jan-Erik who after the drive through penalty got crashed by another driver....
