ADAC F4 2016 - Round 01 - Oschersleben

First Round of ADAC F4 done and the results are not as we were expecting - showing some good pace but not converted into good results... Good qualifying from Job van Uitert (3rd in his group), Kevin Kratz (9th in his group) qualified as well straight to the final races, while Fabio Scherer and Jan-Erik Meikup had to go through the qualifying race in which they owned their place for the final races.

Race 1 : Job made a mistake at the start on the wet and fell back to P17 but recovered nicely to P8, Fabio finished P15 (from P29), Kevin P20 and Jan-Erik P22 (from P32).

Race 2 : difficult race 2 for all Jenzer cars as they were starting from the back of the grid (2nd best lap in qualifying) : Job finishing P13, Kevin P15, Fabio P17 and Jan-Erik P22.

Race 3 : in a glimpse of a time the race changed from good results up to dramatic results : in the last lap Job was P4 and Fabio P9 but a too optimistic move on P3 lead to a DNF for Job while Fabio went wide in the last corner and lost 10 positions.... Kevin was already DNF due to a stupid move for another car who crashed into him, Jan-Erik finished P27...

Now back to some more work to get back in the fight for Round 2 in Sachsenring in 2 weeks
